Friendship

Someone sent me this note.... it really touched me and really sums up friendship!

Friends are not people who just happen to be in the right place at the right time for you.
Friends are people who will be happy to get a call whenever it comes and for whatever reason simply because it will be needed
They will laugh and love with you
They will listen as you rant and share your anger and uncertainty without judging you
They will tell you what you don't want to hear
They have the shoulders for you to cry on and the hugs and kisses to make things feel a little better
They don't have all the answers but they will give you their perspective laid bare be it right or wrong
Friends have the most important things at heart - YOU!

Friends don't want or need anything in return for their friendship. It is a strange parody that the cost of the most valuable thing in the world is nothing!!!


I spoke to a very old friend this week - it was like putting on an old pair of slippers... so so comfortable and like you're being given the biggest of hugs!

Friends can be for a season a reason or for life.... I am so lucky to have such lovely friends and a huge amount of those are undoubtably friends for life!!!
